FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

March 8, 2011

 

During the past Finance Committee meeting on February 22^nd, Pat Olsen and Jean Aili were elected as Co-chairs of the committee.  There is no secretary at the present time.

 

January financial statements were reviewed.  Discussion was held regarding the new layout of the financial sheets.  This new layout is intended to make the financial statements more readable for the shareholders.  A new account for recycling and scrap metal sales will be listed under miscellaneous operational income.  Fran Bolm, the bookkeeper, will have the new layout of the financial reports completed by the end of March.

 

Resignations of the following committee members were submitted:  Glenda Wilson, John Stalzer, and Howard Caires.  All resignations were effective as of February 22^nd.  We want to thank Glenda for her past leadership as Chair of the Finance Committee, and extend our thanks to Howard and John for their participation on the committee.

 

The Finance Committee is looking for additional members since we are down to six members.  Please contact the Finance Committee if you would like to participate.

 

The next Finance Committee meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. today (March 8^th, 2011) in the Conference Room at the Activity Center.  Financial statement will be reviewed and 2012 Budget Requests will be discussed.
