Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Lee Apger, Chair; roll call was by sign-in with nine members in attendance, plus our BOD Liaison. Larry Gingrich was intoduced as the Board Liaison. Minutes of the February meeting were approved as published.

 

Old Business.

Review of the Health Fair.

Shifting the vendors around each year, so the same spot isn't assigned to the same group was discussed. This is feasible with the exception of the hospital, who needs the full stage front. Directing “traffic” for the free tests was also discussed.

Thanks to Joyce for doing the contacting of local businesses for door prizes.

911 Phone checks. We need to call Jill, the supervisor of the 911 operators, before we test again, so the issue of “all the same phone” can be addressed at the County.

Review of calls

Vial of Life forms will now also be on the cart, to give to those who need to complete or update theirs.

Fire Response Procedure was approved. The Team feels we need a check-list in the cart for a real fire. A draft will be brought to the first Fall meeting when more members are present.

Kolleen had a selection of tote bags for members to choose one, if desired, to have for call-outs. They will be available at the next few meetings also.

The Team needs a vice-chair at this time. Also, a reminder about turning in beeper and vest if you leave for the summer.

April and May meeting will be held to determine how many team members are available for calls during the summer months.

The meeting was adjourned to a CE (continuing education) session on the Resusci-Annie and AED.
