Everyone was welcomed at noon, invited to partake of the Holiday spread and visit. The wish list and volunteer worksheet were passed around, and some outings were added, Mary and I will assist with the outings as far as posting for sign up and making sure that enough drivers are available. The book of pictures was available for viewing. Pictures were taken.

Meeting!Hat

A short meeting was held.

OLD BUSINESS:

1).Volunteering for outings as well as Tea's – it was agreed that names will be drawn of those that have not volunteered during the season for either a tea or an outing. During the discussion it was suggested that we each volunteer for 2 functions but that was not decided at this time.

2).Birthday celebrants had picture taken and song was sung!

3). No one had any members requiring salutations from our Lady Sunshine. Our Lady Sunshine (Loli Norman) is scheduled for surgery in January and we thank her for all her previous efforts. She indicated that she would no longer be able to do the task. Lee Williams volunteered and cards and postage will be provided. Thank you Lee.

4).The posting of pictures and minutes at www.sunscapervresort.info was mentioned and it appeared that all were pleased with what we are doing.

5). The members were reminded of the buddy system that was set up for the chapter members that do not have email. Please this is a reminder that they need to keep passing on the information,

6). Thanks to those that have stepped up for the outings.

7). The December outing sign up for Wednesday December 15th was passed with all the other info. The outing is lunch at the Olive Garden at 12 noon and movie "Morning Glory" at 2 PM with the group leaving outside the gates at 11:30 AM.

NEW BUSINESS:

1). It was agreed that our season would run from October through April each year and that we would collect $5.00 dues as people returned for the season. As Jean brought up, this would help us with keeping an accurate tally and roster of our members.

2). The February outing was announced, Mary L has agreed to organize an outing to the Dolly Steamboat and an exact date is yet to be determined but the sign up will be up soon and we need to have everything arranged by January with commitments made.

3). The Mesa Arts Center is having a production of the play ---- "Menopause the Musical" and it was thought to be in March. The members expressed an interest and will be looked into for an outing.

We finally had our gift exchange and everyone had a great time.
Be sure to watch for the pictures.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!
