A guest was welcomed, Charlotte Lynch from Ohio.
It was mentioned that we agreed after the last tea that our season will run from October through April, in conjunction with the Park season and we will collect $5.00 dues in October, (or whenever you return for the season). This will assist in keeping our roster up to date. A prototype for a new Scarlet Darlins Id was passed around and commented on, the recommendations will be applied and reviewed again next month.
It was mentioned that we have not yet resorted to drawing names in order to have outings, but please keep up the effort to step forward for outings. Those that have volunteered, thank you. It was commented that if you volunteer for an outing, please be sure that you want to do it. Also that you will be expected to set a date and if arrangements are necessary, you are expected to arrange them. It is also expected that you will attend the function unless unable to. Mary and I will help with the sign up posting and mention it in the activity sheet. We will also help in making sure there are enough drivers and that all have a ride that needs one.
The Volunteer worksheet for the rest of the season and a new sheet for next year were introduced with the Wish list again. The currently scheduled outing signup sheets were passed around. See below. It was also mentioned that the Dolly Steamboat and Menopause the Musical were opened to the general population but the Scarlet Darlins are asked to wear the Colors.

The PJ Party was discussed and it was determined that it will be held on Thursday, February 3rd at 5PM in the Community Center and arrangements were made with JoAnn to reserve the big room. It sounds as though games, scrapbooking, dance lessons?, Movie, Pot Luck finger food will be on the agenda as a recipe for fun. It is strongly recommended that comfortable, fun & funky colors be worn. Many indicated an interest so I hope it will be well attended.
There was no other new business and meeting was adjourned at 2:45PM and the entertainment turned over to the tea committee.
The ladies provide a luau dance lesson for ladies chosen by dot under their chair. All participating were awarded the pineapple décor off the table.
