First a little disclaimer - these are my notes (and possibly a bit of my opinion and my feelings) about the meeting. It is an informal affair and I thought I would like to share with those of you that couldnt attend some of what went on. Thanks Billie
From Jim, our manager (I was late and got this information from others after the meeting.) We are replacing some much worn water pipes in the park. This may mean water will be shut off at various times to various sites; we will try to inform residents when water will be shut off.
New tile is going into the Clubhouse. It will take about 1½ weeks to complete, but our wonderful volunteer crew is waiting until after Christmas to do the big room. If you havent been to Clubhouse to admire it, well better get over there!
Kitchen Storeroom is finished and is it very nice. Vera has shelves she hasnt even filled up yet. Take a peep at the new storeroom when you are admiring the tile.

Oh dear dog poop again. Please be good neighbors and pick up after your pet both inside and outside of the park.
Insurance Coverage our coverage is adequate. We also have liability coverage for those using private vehicles for park business. I think this is right.
Many helped with the Eloy Thanksgiving Dinner. Thank you all!
Wireless cameras Jim said we are requesting to buy a couple of cameras that can be moved about the park to help with security, etc.
Vera At the request of many members, dinners will now be served on Tuesday instead of Monday. Please sign up in Clubhouse. Alicia Activities. We only had 11 people at Casino School so we will cancel this until we have more participants. Veterans Day picture and social if we only counted the vets that attended we had 323 years of service! WOW!! We have a new sign up area in the Clubhouse. It looks really sharp with clipboards on pegs to make it easier to see. Boy, we really have lots to admire in the Clubhouse.
An SOS whoever borrowed our posthole diggers, please return them. They are needed by Maintenance Staff. Jim added that we have a sign out sheet for equipment to track tools. When you sign it out you are responsible for that tool until you return it.
Avril Welcome Center. We want to welcome everyone back to the park, please make sure you are signed in and please, please make sure you have window stickers in your vehicles this makes the job of your volunteer welcome staff so much easier. Also, please wear you name tags when you are out and about in the park. If you are expecting company at a time when the Welcome Center is closed, please go down to the entrance and let your company in. Do not phone or have your guest phone and disturb Welcome Center staff during their time off. Thank You.
Jack Cox Neighborhood Watch. Meetings are going well with over 50 people attending. Best way to keep our park safe and secure is to keep informed and know what your neighbors are doing and how they are doing. Jack stated that we have the number one first response team in the county.
Mary Ann Fender Medical Responders. Six new members have joined our team but we could still use a couple of new Firemen (or fire people if you prefer). Mary Ann explained a bit about how Responders began and what they do.
Fran Bookkeeper. Dues and assessments statements will be out before the 1st of the year. We will finish this year in the black Yay!!
Mike Moore Architecture Committee. Mike said that the committee mainly serves two important functions. First, to help members and board administer architecture rules. Second, the committee helps the board find information to answer questions and enforce the rules. Board member Bob Gordon added that we are forming a committee to review and update architecture rules and asked for 2 more volunteers to serve on committee he got them!
George Truesdale told us a bit about Home of Hope. They are currently remodeling their nursery and have become a licensed child care facility.
Howard Caires Property and also Nominating Committee. Right now we have only one person running for the board. We need four board members one for a 1 year term and 3 for 3 year terms.
Property Committee - Property has finished (after working 3 ½ months on it) with the inventory and we have $2,700,000 in inventory.
Sunny Stimmel Ambassadors. The ambassadors visited 12 guests from October 20th to November 30th. They are putting together and binder with lots of good information for new members, also.
