Report from the Board of Directors
Regarding Sunscape Survey

A complete and current survey of Sunscape was requested by Pinal County Planning & Development - Code Compliance Division on April 6th.

After meeting with County officials, the Sunscape Board of Directors discussed the requirements with several survey companies, and ultimately hired Survey Innovation Group, Inc. (SIG) from Scottsdale, Arizona, to complete this survey. This is a detailed survey of the park and all of the permanent structures, and it defines all lot boundaries. The Board of Directors has determined that all lot lines in dispute will be defined by “best fit” between adjoining lots so as to guarantee that as many lots as possible meet all county setback requirements. No lot markers or stakes are to be moved, or the cost of resetting them will be at the shareholder’s expense. There will be a final review of lot lines in the fall once the Board is back and before the final map is filed with the County.

The cost of this project is projected to be $20,000. - $25,000. which includes the survey costs, some associated attorney fees, and the cost of County recording fees. This cost will be paid from Sunscape reserve (contingency) funds.
