Sunscape Estates RV Park Cooperative

Ambassadors Committee

 

Charter

Background:

The Ambassadors, representing Sunscape RV Resort were formed as a Special Committee,  February 2005, by concerned members that expressed a need to “meet and greet” and “welcome” visitors and new members to the park.  There has been very favorable feedback for the efforts of this group.  The Board of directors recognizing the value of the Ambassadors granted them Standing Committee status in 2007.

 

Their mission is focused on the first time visitor to the park.  Representatives of the committee personally welcome the visitors to help them make their visit one they want to repeat.  New owners will be contacted to make them feel welcome as park members.

 

How the Committee Functions: 

The Committee of 12 volunteers under the direction of a Chairperson makes visits to first time visitors who stay a week or longer.  A packet of information is personally delivered to each visitor and contents reviewed with them.  Information about the park, the activities in the park, location of amenities, winter visitor emergency cards, pet rules, internet capabilities, maps of the area attractions in the area and more is included in each packet.  Visitors are also reminded to review the “911 Emergency Information” received from the Welcome Center.  A list of Ambassadors names and contact information is made available if the visitor is in need of further information.

 

New Projects:

 

The Ambassadors Committee feels it is very important to make new lot owners welcome and will be embarking on a welcome process this year.

 

Meetings:

 

The committee meets monthly, October through March, on the last Wednesday @ 10:00 A.M. in the Activity Center Conference Room.
