Architectural Committee Meeting

December 21, 2011

The meeting was called to order by Robyn Moore at 12:30 pm.  In attendance were Don Tuttle, Mick Gigoux, Jim Ellis, Alan Greager, Jim Bergmann, Jackie Atkins, and Larry Gingrich-Board Liaison.

Minutes of the December 14, 2011 meeting were approved as written.

Jim Bergmann said that the notice suggested for input into the Activity Sheet this week didn’t make the cutoff.  It was to alert everyone to be aware of a 1989 Chevy ½ ton truck, dark brown, with cheap step sides – it has been seen several nights driving around the park – possibly looking for trouble – driving real slow, and leaving in a hurry when spotted.

Reservations have been made for Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 5:30 at Barro’s Pizza on Pinal for our Architectural Committee dinner.

Election of Officers resulted in those currently in position being reelected:  Robyn Moore, President,
Jim Bergmann, Vice-President, and Jackie Atkins, Secretary.

We reviewed our Charter dated Feb 9, 2011; it was accepted and will be presented to the Board.

It was suggested we issue a statement to shareholders that the “no cactus or thorny plants in setbacks” rule or ‘removal or trimming of trees that encroach over lot lines’ will be more strictly enforced effective January 2012.  Suggest all walk in the Cactus Garden to enjoy the native plants.

Robyn will be going to Pinal County next Wednesday, December 28, 2011 for a pre-site plan review regarding the proposed changes to the area around the pool.

Meeting was opened for permit requests at 1:00 pm.

Lot 485 – Judith Samson (Larry Nunn) – Extend shed to add a clothes closet.  Project is on hold because of the rule about sheds being on the back 1/3 of a lot.

Lot 143 – Dennis Johnson – (a) Submitted a Completion for a slab permit.  (b) Request to install shed (no utilities) and a gazebo.  Submitted as-built; Approved.  Don Tuttle will inspect.

Lot 331 – Ken Macomber – Requested an extension for his open “room addition” permit.  He has acquired an extension from Pinal County.  Permit was extended to 3-1-2012.

Lot 143 – Dennis Johnson – Three (3) posts with a single chain fence, 5’ from the front lot line.  Approved.

Bring your Arc Committee internal procedures, to the meeting next week so they can be reviewed/updated.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:10 pm.

Jackie Atkins, Secretary
