General Information from the Activity Sheet:From the desk of Mike Moore, Chair Person of the Architecture Committee: Landscaping has beautified many of the lots in Sunscape but space is limited on our small lots. The safety of our emergency volunteers and maintenance people must be of prime concern to all of us when selecting plants and trees for our lots. Please keep the setback areas free of cactus, thorny plants, large shrubs and trees so our volunteers can safely and quickly go about their work. Also, please remember that trees are not allowed in the setbacks and require a permit prior to citing and planting.
Are you aware that trees may not be planted in the lot setbacks? Also, please choose plants and trees carefully to prevent encroachment on your neighbor's lot. Please obtain a permit when planning to do landscaping on your lot and before the work is completed.
Whether selling your lot or simply transferring the lease certificate into another name due to a death in the family or for will and trust reasons, a "Lot Pre-sale Inspection" is necessary before transfer. To start the process, complete a "Notification of Intent to Sell" form at least two weeks prior to the desired transfer date. The form is available from the Park manager.
