THINGS THAT NEED TO BE CHECKED.

GATES:       1.                                     2.

DOORS:      1.                                     2.

NOTES:

  1. Do not inform owners of any disorder until you have talked to the manager. False report only causes undo anxiety for people that are trying to be on a summer vacation. Let the manager determine if the owners should be contacted.

  1. If you are taking care of other Lots, Trailers, Park models, please turn in a list to the Block Watch Captain. If we have a problem with break-ins or damage we will know who has the keys and we won’t have to have a forced entry by the Sheriff. The only person other than the BW Captain that would have this list would be the CO-Captain and the manager.

  1. One of the biggest things in Block Watch is to determine what is Block Watch territory and what is park Manager territory. When you see someone violating park rules, please report it to the manager. If you see someone burglarizing or destroying/stealing property contact Block Watch Captain/Manager/Sheriff. Use common sense to decide whom to contact, do not put yourself in a dangerous situation.

  1. Please wear your name badges. The Sheriff and the Patrol Officers have requested that we wear our name badges when we are out and about. They do not know us. We know each other but they don’t. This concerns every one in the park. If you know of people coming back for the winter, please inform them of this.

  1. You can obtain badges from the Welcome Center.

  1. I want to thank everyone that has been patrolling the park and helping to make this Block Watch work. We may be including North Estates and Wild Horse.

  1. MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A FLASH LIGHT, PAPER, PENCIL AND A BLINKING BICYCLE RED TAIL LIGHT IN THE DASH OF YOUR GOLF CART. THIS IS TO SIGNIFY THAT YOU ARE PATROLLING THE PARK.  IF YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE, TAKE IT WITH YOU.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT

New signs that will be placed around the park have been ordered and the computer club has graciously volunteered the money to pay for them, $137. The Sheriffs Dept. because of expense does not supply them. A fund will be established.
