First Computer Club Meeting of the 2009-10 Season is at 1:00pm on Tuesday afternoon, October 20th in the Computer/Craft Room in the Activity Center.

This is going to be a wonderful, busy season and we have lots to discuss, picture directory, web sites, spaghetti dinner, telephone book, park history, Windows 7 and just so much more. You really don't want to miss this meeting.

We also need input about our Computer Classes. What do you want to learn? We are trying to line up some experts to teach us some special skills. Come to this important meeting to share your view with all of us.

If you are not in the park and can’t attend this very important planning meeting, please get your suggestions to one of the people listed below.

Donations: The Computer Club gratefully accepts monetary donations to cover the cost of furniture, equipment, equipment maintenance, supplies, etc. One dollar per meeting (or any other amount) is what the club thinks is appropriate and all donations are totally anonymous.

Picture Directory – Directory is ready to be printed. Do we want color or not – there is a big price difference. We can put pictures on DVDs that will play on your TV.

Phone Book – Welcome Center is working on updating this for us

My Family Website – We have cancelled this site. Not many of us were using it. I have been looking at other free group sites this summer and am currently working on setting us up on Google Groups.

LaVon’s Blog – This is well worth keeping track of, LaVon does a beautiful job and has offered to share her blogging skills with us (although I don’t think her wonderful talent is shareable).

Sunscapers and Park Photo History – John spent about 4 days getting all the Sunscapers into albums so not we have some written history of the park. How about getting some pictorial history included in this? Think about it?

Spaghetti Dinner – Avril will prepare her spaghetti for us but she will need lots of help. The best time to have this will be February. More to think about.

Windows 7 – We need to learn more about this. What can you tell us?
