Medical Response Team Meeting
December  6, 2006

Summary for November:

Two emergency calls, one requiring CPR and defibrillation.

Zoll defibrillator was updated to new CPR standards and batteries changed. New leads and batteries will be supplied without cost with each transmission of information from the defibrillator after use. We have the infrared cord and instructions needed.

 

Summary for December:

The meeting came to order at 9:00 am in the Conference Room with 7 members present:

Mary Ann Fender, Ron Anderson, C.H. Grubb, Ron Stockall, Betty Livingston, Isobel Gordon and Damon Hillery.

 

When the Zoll representative was in the park and updated the defibrillator, he also downloaded the information from our last use and submitted that to the Arizona Heart Institute study and also for our viewing. Charlie Fender showed the tracing and everyone was able to view the events of that incident. The response was discussed and evaluated.

With the difficulty of residents not having the emergency number handy and the delay in calling the Response Team, a letter had been written to the Manager and Board but no response has been received. Avenues to get this information as well as the Vial of Life forms out to park residents and rentees were discussed.

                                                                           

It was brought up that a Board member and Safety Committee represenative be present at our meetings. C.H. Grubb, Safety, was in attendance but no Board member.
