Medical Response Team Meeting

January 3, 2007

Summary for December:

We had three medical calls during the month.

A new suction was purchased for the medical cart.

Vial of Life supplies are being distributed as needed to residents and can be obtained free of . ..charge at Lot #26.

Meeting summary:

Mary Ann Fender called the meeting to order at 9:00 am January 3, 2007 in the Conference Room with Ron Anderson, Ron Stockall, C.H. Grubb and Gene Wallace, Board Member present.

The medical cart was brought to the Activity Center to reorient team to the supplies on the cart. The new suction was demonstrated. The First Aid supplies are in a different container as the hard sided container no longer fit in the space available due to the suction. This is a temporary carrier until a more satisfactory one is found. The disposable splints used for fractures were demonstrated.

CPR recertification will be held next month for Response members.

The meeting adjourned at 9:45.
