MEDICAL RESPONSE TEAM MINUTES
October 3, 2007

The medical meeting was held in the Conference Room at 0900 after a beeper message was sent to all Response Members.  Duane Fisher, Dennis Harvey, Ron Stockall, C.H. Grubb, Damon and Lorna Hillery, Mary Ann Fender and Jim Mashek responded and attended. It was hoped that people would respond so a check of working units could be done and members verified to status on the team. Calls will be made to other team members to make sure the call went through and their beepers in working order.

The medical response from October 2, 2007 was reviewed. It was suggested that persons filling out a report following a fall or other accident be especially detailed should questions arise in the future. It was suggested that Safety address the grounds/sidewalks for hazards and bring these to the Manager and Board of Directors for correction.

A problem occurred during the summer months with a beeper alert coming in that had outside the park address. Beeper holders need to know that this may occur if the person calling 911 says an address containing Sunscape. Our team will not respond outside the park.

Reviews of CPR/AED will be done at the next meeting.

Cold packs have been purchased for use in calls requiring them.

The Medical Cart has been cleaned, checked and a fire extinguisher mounted on it ready for the upcoming season.
