The meeting was called to order by Lee Apger, Chair, at 09:00am.
Roll-call was by sign-in. Eleven members in attendance, with our BOD liaison.
The minutes of the December meeting were approved as read.

Information about the Health Fair, February 17, was discussed. Set-up will be at 07:30am. It was suggested we ask the Quilters if they have a quilt to donate for a door prize. The committee will man two tables: one for blood pressure checks and the other for Vial of Life information. "Winter visitor" cards will also be available for those who need Sunscape's address on their person.

CPR/AED and First Aid classes will be held March 16th. Members of the Fire Team and other Sunscape employees may be signed up as openings are available.

Mary Ann and Chris gave training on using the manual method for blood pressure monitoring- often necessary in situations where the patient's pulse is erratic.

There were seven call-outs since our last meeting; two of them were forwarded to the Safety Committee for follow-up.

Mary Domejka is heading a group of "neighbors helping neighbors in need" to assist those who live alone. As questions arise, we will forward information to her. This will be a purely voluntary-sign-up situation.

Chris had information about heart attack and stroke symptoms, which will be copied and forwarded to all team members.
