Don and LaVon Baker

Oklahoma..."Mr. Basketball"...successful business..."crashed heart"... In 1990, God got Don's full attention when the doctors told him he had six months to live. By this time his fortune, nhome, everything was gone and he turned to rely on God. He and his wife ministered in several churches in Oklahoma until her death in 2005. In his loneliness Don decided to go on a mission trip to Mexico where he began to find new meaning and purpose for himself.

Upon returning, he and LaVon who had attended his church in Norman, OK, met for dinner and he told her about his experiences in Mexico. They were married in 2006. After serving a church for a year, they sold their house and stuff, and purchased a RV. They call what God has led them to do as "getting out of the box."

Don says "We love it here and we invite you to join us in worship and fellowship each Sunday morning at 8:20 or 9:30.
