Harold Brewster

Harold Brewster keeps tabs on the beginning Wood Carvers in his group as they learn to manipulate and remove pieces of wood to create a masterpiece. Harold has been carving wood since 1970. He began in Minnesota by carving firewood while sitting around his campsite. As he was able to make good figures he was hooked.

He has carved musical instruments, walking sticks, buffalo, coyote, clowns, birds and fish and many other items. One of his fish took 2nd place in the Iowa State Woodcarvers' competition.

Western Horizon, Mission Royal, Senior Center and Palm Creek also benefit from his teaching skills. Teaching must be his second love. Carving and teaching keep him busy all season.
