SCARLET DARLIN’S Pot Luck Minutes

Welcome at Noon, the member signup and dues collection was available at a separate table and time to visit was provided. Everyone was reminded that the current picture binder was available at the Entry table, the previous seasons are available and are kept in the Scarlet Darlins’ cabinets.  Pictures were taken of the food table and decorations, and time was provided to enjoy the scrumptious holiday goodies.

                                                                                                                                                    

Short meeting was called to order at approximately 1pm.

 

First item:

 

Volunteering!! List was passed and additional openings were filled.

 

Reminded those that had not paid dues that I was available.

 

The December Outing to the play was discussed and the sign up was passed. Marion will collect the ticket money this weekend.  I will contact everyone regarding rides, and the individual cars will meet at the theatre for the 2pm matinee. I will have the tickets or have to pick them up at will call.

 

Three members celebrating birthdays this month were honored, Carol Thornton, Nancy Dimick  and the Bithday Girl herself ‘ Helen Maresh celebrating her 82nd Birthday today.

 

There were no guests.

 

Lady Sunshine update, Billie is doing better, and I think Loli/Steve are getting along and Linnea is home and Mary Sorenson is home, and all continue to need our thoughts and prayers. If there are there any other members Past/Present that need our support, please let Lee Williams or myself know so that we may send our regards. Rose Marsh plans to be here in January.

 

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Dorothy Schultz invited the Scarlet Darlin’s to participate in a skit for the next New Years Eve Party. Please let her know who will be willing to participate.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

It was suggested that the February Tea also have a Red Hat items exchange, the suggestion was accepted.

 

The meeting was adjourned and turned over to the Hostesses for the Christmas white elephant gift exchange. Two door prizes were awarded, Mary Sorenson & Janna Patnaude
